A case of Hodgkin¡¯s Lymphoma in a Patient with Resistant to Multiple Biologics

Abstract

|
There are limited data regarding the safety of biologics and risk of cancer development. Biologic therapy can have negative effect on immune system, which could influence on tumor surveillance. A 34-year-old man presented with fever and lymphadenopathy. He had started biologic therapy for psoriasis 4 year ago and biopsy showed Reed-Sternberg cells. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin¡¯s lymphoma and received chemotherapy while stopping biologics. During chemotherapy, psoriasis was severely aggravated. With consideration, chemotherapy was stopped, and biologic therapy was re-initiated. Patient suffered no relapse. Herein, we report a case of Hodgkin¡¯s lymphoma in a patient with resistant to multiple biologics.
